Prior to founding his own law practice, Daniel S. Kokhba was a Name Partner at Kantor, Davidoff, Mandelker, Twomey, Gallanty & Kokhba, P.C.. He is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell - the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethical standards
Mr. Kokhba has represented clients in a range of industries including real estate, finance, venture capital, healthcare, not for profit, staffing, logistics, art, film, media, technology, and sports. He has successfully litigated a variety of claims including breach of contract, fraud, business torts, employment, fiduciary duty, undue influence, intellectual property, defamation and constitutional civil rights violations. Mr. Kokhba has handled matters from inception through trial and beyond, and is also retained by other lawyers as (i) trial counsel and/or (ii) local counsel.
Since 2004, Mr. Kokhba has litigated high profile cases in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey, as well as domestic and international arbitrations, including but not limited to, against Rutgers University, Draftkings, art shipper Day & Meyer, the Hartford Fire Insurance Co., Croatian basketball club Cibona Zagreb, and the Republic of Argentina.
In addition to litigation, Mr. Kokhba serves as outside general counsel to select clientele advising on day to day operations, contracts, conflicts, crisis management, and strategic planning.
